Version Excursion part six! We’re celebrating five years of Bielefelds soundsystem regular. For this special occasion, no other than @submissionsoundsystem will transform our community club space @nr.z.p into an acoustic catalyst of bass meditation and togetherness. The crew can be considered as pioneers of the Moroccan dub scene as they built the very first stack in the region in 2017 and have been consistently producing some of the most exhilarating and meticulously mixed roots and dub music in recent years, working across multiple continents and countries with talented players of instruments, vocalists and mastering experts. Their production process is uniting people as much as their events. In the control station we’ll see producer and selector @abba_ismaiil accompanied by saxophone player @bluesabuse delivering scorching roots and dubwise interpretations from their label and otherwise. Warming up and closing the session, @hot_wire_hifi comes in with their usual energy! From roots to steppas to digital and rocksteady, get ready to be taken on a journey through the diverse landscape of soundsystem culture and immerse yourself in the low end of heavyweight DIY speakers and spaced out FX.

Fünf Jahre Version Excursion!. Zu diesem besonderen Anlass werden keine geringeren als Submission Soundsystem unseren Community-Clubraum in einen akustischen Katalysator der Bass-Meditation und des Miteinanders verwandeln. Die Crew kann als Pionier der marokkanischen Dub-Szene betrachtet werden, da sie 2017 den allerersten Stack in Marokko gebaut hat und einige der aufregendsten Roots- und Dub-Produktionen der letzten Jahre veröffentlicht haben, wobei sie über mehrere Kontinente und Länder hinweg mit talentierten Instrumentalisten, Sängern und Mastering-Experten zusammenarbeiten. Ihr Produktionsprozess verbindet die Menschen ebenso wie ihre Veranstaltungen. In der Booth werden wir den Produzenten und DJ Abba Ismail in Begleitung des Saxophonisten Blues Abuse sehen, die mit ihren Interpretationen von Roots- und Dub-Musik von ihrem Label jammen werden. Mehr wird bald bekannt gegeben!
Zum Aufwärmen und zum Abschluss der Session kommt die Hot Wire Hi-Fi Crew mit ihrer üblichen Energie! Von Roots über Steppas bis hin zu Digital und Rocksteady – macht euch bereit für eine Reise durch die vielfältige Landschaft der Soundsystem-Kultur und taucht ein in das Low-End von schwergewichtigen DIY-Lautsprechern und spacigen FX.
